Life will be easier if you get a high-quality picture.
So, get a large mb file if you can but if you get a Facebook Photo then I use this software to upscale

I use ImagR Offline. https://design-gecko.com/product/offline/
In ImagR I crop the image and resize and set the dpi to 318
I then use Automatic Sharpen, Adjust and Denoise.
In the Materials, I use CO2/2 White Tile Painted Black
Save and engrave.
The settings used for a Monport 30watt Fiber Laser
Lightburn 6000 speed/ 25 power/ 80 freq
